I created the imagery for this space scene in Photoshop, then imported it into After Effects. It was split into layers in depth, creating 2.5D space. I used a camera to move slightly through the space, and the elements themselves were animated.

This animation is about my identity as an artist. I explore my struggle to reach my dream of being successful, and the desire for others to enjoy my work.
The piece was included in the Id:Entity show at the Contemporary Art Museum of Raleigh in the fall of 2011. |
